Tower adapters are used for the transport of tower segments with a wide range of lengths and diameters if the load has to be height-optimised due to the route profile. The adapter is mounted together with modular trailers in order to utilise the advantages of the integrated pendle-axles. This is because 600 millimetres of stroke and a steering angle of 60 degrees bring the segments safely to the wind farm, even through difficult terrain. Furthermore, the modularity also allows for use in other configurations.
